When designing a fashion line for the new season, fashion designers produce hand-stitched, unique samples of the proposed line. Of these samples a fraction are chosen to mechanically produced for the general consumer markets. This is where Once steps in. 

 

Once sells these samples online similar to a conventional e-Retail store, except all of our garments are completely unique and handmade. We create an strong emotional connection between our consumers and the garments they provide by instilling a sense of pride in the customer for being the sole owner of this garment.

 

We don’t want our consumers to say, “this is an Topshop dress, do you have one?” We want our consumers to say, “this is a L’Wren Scott, it’s the only one in the world.”
